Whitman College, Religion Department, announces a one-year
replacement
position in ASIAN RELIGIONS for AY 2008-2009. Area of
specialization and
methodological approach are open, but preference will be given to
applicants with an ability to teach courses in the religions
of South and
Southeast Asia, as well as General Studies; appointment at the
rank of
Visiting Assistant Professor, with possibility of renewal.
Completed PhD
preferred but ABD candidates will be considered.  Three
courses per
semester; competitive salary and benefits.  Whitman College
wishes to
