Dear compatriots, sixteen years will have passed this coming
October 23 since the signing of the ?Paris Peace Agreement?.
We, Cambodians, even though living elsewhere, remain deeply
attached to and care for our motherland. ?The Paris Peace
Agreement? of October 23, 1991 was an historical event and a
date to be remembered. This agreement?s aim was: to provide
and protect Cambodian independence; territorial sovereignty
and integrity; non-interference from foreign countries and its
neighbors; and to restore freedom and human rights to
Cambodia. After sixteen years of the Agreement being in
place, Cambodia is still subjected to continued territorial
violations and encroachments by its neighbors, and its
citizens still suffer endless violations of their rights.

The conference will offer attendees the chance to share the
relevance and importance of the ?Paris Peace Agreement? ? its
terms, conditions, provisions, and the true, present outcome
of that accord, from Americans and Cambodians who are
knowledgeable speakers and researchers. We will have panel
discussions and question and answer sessions. The conference
will try to provide specific recommendations for solutions and
remedies to the shortcomings of its implementation.

Together We Stand and Can Make a Difference! So please join us
in the Conference.
