New Annual Research.gov Account Management Profile Update Has Kicked Off

Dear Colleague,

Starting January 29th, NSF account holders will be prompted to review and update account profile information after signing into Research.gov. Users can defer this process one time but then must complete it the next time they sign into Research.gov to continue working in the system.

While NSF account holders can view and edit their account profile information at any time on their Research.gov View/Edit My Profile page, they must complete this account profile review process annually going forward. See the View and Edit My NSF Account Profile Information and View and Edit My NSF Reviewer Account Profile Information sections of the Account Management Guide<https://resources.research.gov/common/attachment/Desktop/Single_ID_Help.pdf> for details on NSF account updates.

Questions? If you have IT system-related questions, please contact the NSF IT Service Desk at 1-800-381-1532 (7:00 AM - 9:00 PM ET; Monday - Friday except federal holidays) or via rgov at nsf.gov<mailto:rgov at nsf.gov>. Policy-related questions should be directed to policy at nsf.gov<mailto:policy at nsf.gov>.

Regards,
Division of Information Systems
National Science Foundation

Share Your Ideas For Advancing the U.S. Bioeconomy

Join a CASA-Bio Town Hall and Share Your Idea to Advance the U.S. Bioeconomy

Catalyzing Across Sectors to Advance the Bioeconomy (CASA-Bio; www.casa-bio.net) is a collaborative, facilitated activity, inspired by the Executive Order (EO) on Advancing Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Innovation for a Sustainable, Safe, and Secure American Bioeconomy<https://lnks.gd/l/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJidWxsZXRpbl9saW5rX2lkIjoxMDEsInVyaSI6ImJwMjpjbGljayIsInVybCI6Imh0dHBzOi8vd3d3LndoaXRlaG91c2UuZ292L2JyaWVmaW5nLXJvb20vcHJlc2lkZW50aWFsLWFjdGlvbnMvMjAyMi8wOS8xMi9leGVjdXRpdmUtb3JkZXItb24tYWR2YW5jaW5nLWJpb3RlY2hub2xvZ3ktYW5kLWJpb21hbnVmYWN0dXJpbmctaW5ub3ZhdGlvbi1mb3ItYS1zdXN0YWluYWJsZS1zYWZlLWFuZC1zZWN1cmUtYW1lcmljYW4tYmlvZWNvbm9teS8_dXRtX21lZGl1bT1lbWFpbCZ1dG1fc291cmNlPWdvdmRlbGl2ZXJ5IiwiYnVsbGV0aW5faWQiOiIyMDI0MDEyNC44OTA2MjA1MSJ9.ukGuZVwxpPmZr9H7lEkHceELEavgr7-SFdp84fkEycI/s/381559306/br/235897328356-l>.

Stakeholders<https://lnks.gd/l/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJidWxsZXRpbl9saW5rX2lkIjoxMDIsInVyaSI6ImJwMjpjbGljayIsInVybCI6Imh0dHBzOi8vd3d3LmNhc2EtYmlvLm5ldC9wYXJ0aWNpcGF0aW5nLXN0YWtlaG9sZGVycz91dG1fbWVkaXVtPWVtYWlsJnV0bV9zb3VyY2U9Z292ZGVsaXZlcnkiLCJidWxsZXRpbl9pZCI6IjIwMjQwMTI0Ljg5MDYyMDUxIn0.mz3XLuwEJWvYSJZfPrl786MfNu045krdYsG_KJYuIws/s/381559306/br/235897328356-l> from Federal agencies, industry, and non-profits have identified a group of Subtheme Challenges that span the five Bioeconomy EO Themes:

🔆 climate change
🌾 food and agriculture
🚚 supply chain resilience
🩺 human health
🔀 cross cutting areas to advance all these areas

Now, there is an opportunity for the research community to provide input for the next step in the CASA-Bio activity!

Share your ideas for research on these or other areas that have the potential to advance the bioeconomy. In February, we will host four virtual Town Hall meetings to hear from the research community about the ideas they view as having exciting potential to advance the bioeconomy.

These Town Halls will be highly interactive with lots of time for breakout discussions among community members. The Town Halls will all have the same agenda but are offered at different days and times to accommodate different schedules. Everyone is welcome to attend the Town Halls and to share research ideas!

💬💡 How to Share Your Ideas

Your input will be critical for moving CASA-Bio forward to advance the bioeconomy. There are multiple ways to participate: Share your ideas in a virtual Town Hall and/or share your ideas online.

Option 1

If you are able to attend, register for a Town Hall to collaborate with others on developing research ideas, and share your individual ideas ahead of the Town Hall.
