Two NASA Training/Learning Opportunities:
NASA Grants and Cooperative Agreements 102

A few weeks ago, NSSC-Grant-Administration released Grants and Cooperative Agreements 101: An Overview of Financial Assistance. We are pleased to announce the release of "Grants and Cooperative Agreements 102: An Overview of NASA’s Grant Environment<https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiuUQ9asub3RBxyZxDrKF57bIqxHGPtPh>" live on the PMPD/GPC YouTube Playlist!

While Grants and Cooperative Agreements 101 provided insight into Federal financial assistance from a Government-wide lens, Grants and Cooperative Agreements 102 provides an overview of the various grant programs while focusing on:

  *   award-related roles and responsibilities,
  * the four phases of the grants lifecycle,
  * associated activities in the award’s lifecycle,
  * audit requirements for NASA award recipients, and
  * best practices for efficiently managing a NASA grant award.

This pre-recorded training is designed to equip proposers and grantees with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively navigate the NASA grants landscape.

"Ask NASA: You Were Awarded a Grant. Now What?”

Please join NASA as we host, "Ask NASA: You Were Awarded a Grant. Now What?” This event will take place virtually on October 11, 2023, from 1:30-3:30 Central Time. The event’s aim is to provide post-award insights to NASA grant recipients regarding best practices in award administration and compliance pitfalls.

Due to the overwhelming interest and the incredible number of registrations we've received, we have extended the event's duration from 1.5 hours to 2 hours. This adjustment will allow us to accommodate the larger panel of experts and delve deeper into the discussions around grants and their impact to the recipient community.

Organized and hosted by NASA, representatives from Grants Policy and Compliance (GPC), the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC), the Office of STEM Engagement (OSTEM), the Science Mission Directorate (SMD), and the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity (ODEO), will share their expertise and provide essential information regarding policies, procedures, and internal controls to follow and implement for effective award administration.

Throughout the event, participants are encouraged to ask questions that will position them to gain clarity on specific areas of concern and receive personalized advice for managing their grants effectively. This “Ask NASA” event is intended to serve as a two-way discussion forum as well as provide an avenue for relationship building.
