Please join Research Administrators INC to view a special NCURA webinar presentation, "Navigating the Revisions to the Uniform Guidance."  As the Uniform Guidance is one of the key documents impacting sponsored awards, this is sure to be an informative session.  This webinar will discuss key changes to the Uniform Guidance reflected in the recent 2020 revision, including updated definitions, new requirements modifications to existing requirements, the government’s purpose in making certain changes, and its potential impact to institutions.

  *   Describe the significant events leading to the 2020 Uniform Guidance revisions
  *   Explain the key changes reflected in the 2020 Uniform Guidance revisions, and the government’s reasons for the changes
  *   Discuss potential impacts to institutional processes resulting from the 2020 Uniform Guidance revisions
  *   Apply a tool provided during the webinar to assist with identifying changes between the original Uniform Guidance issuance and the 2020 revisions (see Uniform Guidance – Revisions Crosswalk)

video webinars and supporting resources which will walk the participant through the entire life cycle of an award.

Please join Research Administrators INC on Thursday, January 28th at Noon as we dive into the third of a three-part series on Proposal Development.  This third 90-minute webinar will discuss proposal planning, logistics, and financial and compliance considerations. Monday, January 18TH
UCR will be closed on Monday, January 18th in in observation of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

Wednesday, January 20TH – NIH will be closed for Inauguration Day
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) will be closed on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, for the federal holiday (Inauguration Day). If an NIH grant application due date falls on a federal holiday<https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/pay-leave/federal-holidays/#url=2021>, the application deadline is automatically extended to the next business day.
