<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">The Graduate Division Office has brought to our attention that many Graduate Student Researchers (GSRs) were not appropriately range adjusted. As you may know the range adjustment report for non-represented
academic employees was produced on September 23, 2011. Since this date, some departments created new distribution lines for new and existing GSRs. The PPS update on October 17, 2011 did not pick up the new distribution lines; therefore, old rates are still
reflected on the database.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">Please review the attached PDF report and use the attached salary scale table 22 (<a href="http://www.ucop.edu/acadpersonnel/1112/table22.pdf">http://www.ucop.edu/acadpersonnel/1112/table22.pdf</a>) to manually
range adjust the omitted distribution lines. This important action must be completed by October 26, 2011 when the Monthly Current (MO) time roster will be closed. Failure to adjust the incorrect rate on PPS will cause the employee to be underpaid.<br>
