employee benefit payments. Performs the highest level payroll-related
accounting functions and analysis. Effectively supervises staff in the
following payroll processes: payroll records maintenance;
compensation/salary administration; time collection and leave reporting;
payroll processing; monthly, quarterly, calendar and fiscal year-end
reporting; benefits; employee relations coding, separation; training and
development; and systems support. Interacts extensively with the campus
community and external auditors. Assists in the development of
campus-wide payroll related policy and procedures. Identifies
opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the payroll
operation. <br>
