Each year, the Office of the President requires each campus to provide a list
of employees who reside and work outside of the United States.&nbsp; These
employees are not covered by the University's general Workers' Compensation
insurance, which is only applicable to employees employed within the
state.&nbsp; In order to determine if any of your employees require this
special foreign insurance coverage, the following criteria would apply:<br>

-<span style='color:#1F497D'> </span>Permanent employment is outside of the
United States<br>
-<span style='color:#1F497D'> </span>Long term employment outside of the United
States (longer than a three<span style='color:#1F497D'>-</span>month
assignment)<br>
<br>
If employees are only working outside of the United States on a temporary basis
and out of the country only for less than three months - they would be covered
under the University's self-insured program.<br>
