subject to Furlough/ Salary Reduction. The intent is that the total of the
WC-related benefits the employees receive should be equivalent to what they
would have received <i><u>had</u></i> the Furlough/Salary Reduction plan <i><u>not
been</u> </i>in place. The same provision also applies to START

January 1, 2010, the Dean title series was moved out of the SMG group. As a

22, 2010. They will no longer be bound by the SMG 10 day limitation on the
use of accrued furlough days but will be able to use all their accrued furlough

well on the way to being finalized. Employees who opted in to receive their W2’s
electronically will be able to do so on January 14<sup>th</sup> or 15<sup>th</sup>.
The W2’s for active employees who did not sign up for electronic W’2’s,
will be distributed to the departments the last week of January. At that time,
the W2’s for inactive, separated, leave with pay and leave without pay employees
will be mailed through the US mail to the employee’s home address on PPS.
These employees will be able to get an electronic W2 online around mid
February. As with every year, Gabe encouraged departments to tell their
employees about the advantages of opting for an online W2.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
