<p><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>At the end
of every calendar year, UCOP closes two At Your Service Online (AYSO)
applications to allow UCOP and the Payroll Office to complete the year-end
health and welfare changes. AYSO’s Benefits Enrollment (aka New
Hire) and Current Enrollments applications will close at 5 p.m. on Friday,
December 11, 2009. UCOP is scheduled to re-open the two applications the
morning of Wednesday, January 6th, 2010. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>Employees
using Current Enrollments through December 11th will continue to view their
2009 Health & Welfare enrollments (Open Enrollment changes will not be
reflected). When they use the application in the new year, they will be able to
view their 2010 enrollments (including their Open Enrollment changes). <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>An
employee with a Period of Initial Eligibility (PIE) who does not need to
complete their Benefits Enrollments by 5 p.m. on December 11th will need to
complete the attached UPAY 850 form and forward to the Benefits Office for
processing. Please keep this deadline in mind as you work with new
employees. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
