<span style="font-family: georgia,serif;">The last council meeting of the quarter will be held today Wednesday Dec 5th at the Senate Chambers in the Commons. Come by our office at 5:30pm for free pizza and sodas. We will be joined by guest speakers from the Counseling Center and from Housing and Dining, in addition to an eco-friendly initiative presentation.

<br style="font-family: georgia,serif;"><b><span style="font-family: georgia,serif;">2. Finals Sweets and Treats – each day during finals week</span></b><br style="font-family: georgia,serif;"><br style="font-family: georgia,serif;">
<span style="font-family: georgia,serif;">Whether you're taking finals, grading finals, or doing research, we think you deserve a break next week. So, the GSA Party Committee will be hosting a "Sweets and Treats" social each day during finals week (Dec 10-14). In the Commons Graduate Student Lounge (room 383, by the rotunda), there will be free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and snacks for graduate students. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the social will be held from 11am until 12pm, but on Tuesday and Thursday, the social will be held from 1pm until 2pm. So be sure to swing by during finals week to check out our very own Commons Lounge and enjoy some "sweets and treats" compliments of your Party Committee!

<span style="font-family: georgia,serif;">The University of California Student Association (UCSA) is having their December Board meeting at Riverside on Dec 15. This is a great opportunity to meet other UC Students, and there will be a special election for the UCSA President. Join us at the Senate Chambers, 2nd Floor of the Commons at 10am.

UCSA just appointed students from across the system for the Student Advisory Committee.
