workshops at the MLA Annual Convention in Los Angeles will focus on the theme
The Academy in Hard Times. Sponsored sessions and forums will offer attendees

area at the Concourse Foyer in the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention
Center on 6 January. The registration area opens at 8:00 a.m. Those applying for
a pass will be asked to complete a brief survey and must present a valid
