&nbsp;Description: <br><br>
A trilogy of dances created by venerated choreographer <b>Margaret
Jenkins</b> and her company, <b><i>Other Suns</i></b> is a visually
stunning, cross-cultural collaboration with the <b>Guangdong Modern Dance
Company</b> of Guangzhou, China - mainland China’s first professional
modern dance company. Combining athleticism, technical acuity and
emotional nuance, <i>Other Suns</i> creates a highly charged landscape
that transcends national and cultural borders. Live music composed by
<b>Paul Dresher</b> and performed by the <b>Paul Dresher Ensemble</b>
with additional music by Chinese composer <b>Bun Ching-Lam</b>. <br><br>

<i>Other Suns</i> is funded in part by the National Dance Project of the
New England Foundation for the Arts, with lead funding from the Doris
Duke Charitable Foundation and additional funding from the Ford
