I checked with SCAIP:<br><br>If a student admits responsibility, mark ADMITTED on the form and then get the student signature to verify the confession. <br><br>If you do not confront the student, or if you do and s/he denies it, mark the form DENIED and turn it in (with or without a signature). <br>
<br>Then file GD on your grade sheet (not F). The student will get a Grade Delay and the SCAIP process will begin....<br><br>You should therefore have the form on hand before confronting the student face to face, if you choose such a confrontation.<br>
<br>And ideally, we should notify the student, at least via email, so that the letter from SCAIP is not the first revelation that s/he's in trouble. Let's not be passive aggressive about it.<br><br><br><br>Kate <br>
