<p class="MsoNormal">It's that time of year to consider the hard work of our
Writing Program's teaching assistants who labor tirelessly instructing,
mentoring, and motivating their students toward success at UCR. As we are
all too keenly aware, it isn't always easy juggling our own scholarship and
writing in addition to the careful instruction we need to provide, yet every
year many of our TAs fly above and beyond in this balancing act to provide a
superb commitment to their students. <br>

The best judges of our TAs’ efforts are often their students, so please
encourage your students this quarter to offer recommendations.<span style=""> </span>If a student expresses interest in nominating
a T.A., forward him/her a copy of the attachment or inform him/her of the
recommendation form in HMNSS 1102.<span style=""> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Also, if you know of a superb TA, please put forward a
recommendation for him/her.<br>
You can nominate a colleague by submitting a recommendation (up to two pages),
noting the exceptional qualities of the teaching assistant and your experiences
working with him/her.<span style=""> </span></p>
