Office of Instructional Development is working with the Office of the Registrar
to give instructors access to Flex Classrooms if they are interested in
developing interactive teaching strategies. The VPUE office, which
manages the rooms, is accepting proposals that “clearly define pedagogy
that encourages student engagement through the use of the Flex Classroom space

The Flex Classroom in INTS that seats 45 students is an opportune space for two
Writing Program instructors and their sections to work together. These
rooms are equipped with standard as well as unusual electronic equipment, white
boards, and flexible seating and tables. If you are interested in the
possibility of working with another Writing Program instructor to teach an
interactive version of a Writing Program class in one of these rooms, please
contact Cynde Sanchez and me to talk about your ideas. Although we have
not yet given out course assignments, we can explore with you the possibility
of helping teams of instructors use the Flex space. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
