Bonjour!<br><br>
Just a reminder: The next film in our Tournées Film Festival series will
be taking place tomorrow, <b><u>Tuesday, May 13th at 7:30 pm at the
Metropolitan University Village Cinemas in Riverside, CA (near the UCR
campus).</u></b> We will be showing director Rachid Bouchareb's film
<b>INDIGÈNES (Days of Glory), </b>which recounts the forgotten story and
accomplishment of France's more than 150,000 recruits from Africa during
World War II. In addition to all of its acclaim in France, this film has
also just recently taken the prize at the annual <b><i>Human Rights
Nights Film Festival</i></b> in Bologna, Italy, a festival that not only
brings to light the plight of human rights across the globe, but also
celebrates its advances and triumphs. We our proud to do our part in
spreading these messages to our own community and are excited that we
could bring this film to you! I have attached the film's flyer to this
email. I hope to see you all tomorrow night as we hit the middle of our
festival with two films down and only two to go after this one.
