A recent communication from the Registrar’s Office to faculty regarding
iGrade has prompted the following clarification:<br>

To 1) mitigate the ripple down effect of grade delays and 2) efficiently
process grades which ultimately impact the student and their need for
advising, transcript requests, financial aid, and other academic
processes that must occur to promote a seamless educational experience,
<b><u>the Registrar’s Office recommendation of a 48-hour grade submission
is a general guideline and not a requirement. </u></b>The goal of
this guideline is to promote an even, more balanced submission of grades
over a series of days as opposed to the vast majority of grades being
submitted on the final deadline day. Finally, please keep in mind that
the final deadline for grade submission remains Monday, March
24<sup>th</sup> for paper rosters and Wednesday, March 26<sup>th</sup>
for iGrade submission. <br>

It is the Registrar’s Office’s goal to fine tune the grade submission
process, balancing the needs of the students and the faculty. We
appreciate your continued support and constructive feedback as we
continue to refine this process. <br><br>
