It is that time of the month again- French films at Coffee Depot! For the
month of February we will be showing a double-feature. This month's main
feature is Robert Lapage's <i>La face cachée de la lune</i>.
"Writer-director Robert Lapage stars in this touching comedy about
two brothers (both played by Lepage) who are polar opposites. Philippe is
a Ph.D. who's broke and barely able to make ends meet, while Andre, a TV
reporter, draws a handsome salary and leads a fabulous life. But the
death of their mother prompts Philippe to rekindle his neglected
relationship with his estranged sibling, though just how successful he'll
be is anyone's guess." Following the main feature will be a classic,
<i>Thérèse Raquin</i>, based on the novel by Émile Zola. These films will
be shown on <b><u>WEDNESDAY, FEB. 13TH, 2008 @ The Coffee Depot in
Downtown Riverside. </u></b>The times will be broken up as follows:<br>

<i>La face cachée de la lune: </i><b>Will begin promptly at 7:00 PM and
will conclude by 9:00 PM.<br>

<i>Thérèse Raquin</i>: <b>Will begin promptly at 9:00 PM and will
conclude by 11:00 PM.<br>
