Just a reminder, this month's main feature at Coffee Depot is
entitled "Raja l'Africaine," by Jacques Doillon. "Raja
(Najat Benssallem), a 19-year-old orphan living on the streets in
Morocco, lands a job working in the garden of a wealthy, middle-aged
Frenchman, Fred (Pascal Greggory). Fred is quickly smitten with the
plucky girl, who's initially suspicious of his intentions. Although a
guarded mutual interest develops, their potential romance may be stymied
by a web of manipulation, as well as the cultural, economic and
generational rift between the pair..." This film will be our main
feature of the night on <b><u>WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16TH @ 7:00 PM at the
Coffee Depot in Downtown Riverside, CA</u></b>. In addition, for those of
you who can't make the early show, or who find that just one film is not
enough, grab another cup of coffee and stay/come to see our second
feature of the night: Yves Angelo's adaptation of Balzac's novella
"Colonel Chabert" at <b>9:00 pm</b> (done by 11pm). As always
