For this month we will be showing the French comedy murder-mystery
musical entitled <b><i>8 Femmes</i></b> (8 women), directed by François
Ozon, based on the play by Robert Thomas. "The film is set in the
1950's in a large country residence, as a family and its servants are
preparing for Christmas, when the master of the house is discovered dead
in his bed, with a dagger stuck into his back. The murderer must be one
of the eight women in the house at the time, and in the course of the
investigations each has a tale to tell and secrets to hide..." This
is a wonderful film that boasts such names as Catherine Deneuve,
Emmanuelle Béart, Danielle Darrieux, Isabelle Huppert and Fanny Ardant as
part of its cast. The film will be shown <b>THIS WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12 @
7:30 PM at the Coffee Depot in Downtown Riverside</b>. Come and join us
for a bit of holiday cheer!<br>
