Believe it or not, we are now thinking about that wonderful word
"<b><u>GRADES</u></b>"! Please read the e-mail below
regarding this new alternative to paper grades. If you decide to
use the iGrade alternative, please let me know <b><u>no later than
November 14, 2007.</u> </b> I will be out of the office during the
week that responses are due to the CNC office.<br><br>
<b><i><u>All TAs, please be advised that you must let me know if you are
submitting iGrades. In the past, a few TAs did not inform me of
their decision, thus causing end of quarter complications. Also,
TAs must meet with Rise' Axelrod before submitting grades on
iGrade. Please be sure to bring your class attendance sheets and
syllabus with you when meeting with Rise.<br><br>
</u></i></b>Thank you.<br><br>

Dear UCR Faculty,<br>
<br>
Say good-bye to mountains of paperwork! iGrade is now available for
Fall 2007! iGrade is the easiest way to directly submit your
students' grades into the campus Student Information System. It's
fast. It's easy. And it's greatly improved. <br>
<br>
Some advantages:
<ol>
<li>You'll have less paperwork.
<li>You'll be able to submit grades from anywhere (as long as there is
Internet access).
<li>Your students' grades will be available immediately upon your
submission.
</ol> <br>
And I am happy to announce a brand new iGrade feature: <b>You now have
the option of changing your default grade submission method from paper to
iGrade permanently. Once you change the default method, you will not have
to opt into iGrade every quarter. The new default will remain in effect
until you decide to change it.<br>
</b> <br>
If you haven't tried iGrade yet, this is the perfect time to get
started. Here are a few easy steps to opt in:<br>
<br>
1. Visit
<a href="http://igrade.ucr.edu/">http://igrade.ucr.edu</a>.<br>
2. Log in using your UCR Net
ID and password.<br>
3. Select the iGrade option in
the "Submit Method" column. (You'll notice that all<br>
classes have been preset to "Paper," so you must click on the
"iGrade" option to<br>
activate iGrade.) Please do this for each class.<br>
4. Please note that in order
to use iGrade for the Fall Quarter 2007, you must<br>
submit
your method choices between 10/22/2007 and 11/26/2007 at 5:00 p.m.<br>
For an
introduction, background, and additional information about iGrade,
