I received the following request from a student at Loyola Marymount
University asking if she could observe several composition classes this
coming Monday. If you would be willing to have her observe your class,
please email her with the information.
Professor Axelrod,

I graduated from UCR with a BA in English and Women's Studies and a
minor in Ethnic Studies. Currently, I am enrolled in a graduate
English course at Loyola Marymount University which focuses upon
methods of teaching literature and composition. As part of this
course, I am required to observe several English Composition courses.
I have 5 left to observe and was scheduled to observe them this coming
monday. The professor contacted me yesterday; due to an emergency, a
substitute will be in class monday, so I will be unable to observe.

I realize that this is a last minute request and during the last week
before finals, but I would be truly grateful for any classes which I
might be allowed to observe this monday, December 4th. Whether they
are Beginning Composition, Applied Intermediate Composition, or any
other composition course, any will be helpful. My only time
restriction is a 7:15pm class at LMU (north of lAX).

I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide. I can be
contacted via email, at the contact provided below or on my cell phone
at 626-627-2121.

Sincerely,
Michelle Ellis
