The 4th International *Piers Plowman* Conference will take place May
17-19, 2007 at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Plenary
lectures will be presented by leading scholars in medieval literature and
culture, including David Aers, Andy Galloway, Anne Middleton, Alastair
Minnis, Wendy Scase, James Simpson, D. Vance Smith, and Nicholas Watson.

The conference organizers invite both individual paper abstracts and
session proposals on any topic related to *Piers Plowman*, but they
especially welcome papers that address one of the four
"threads" of the conference: Genealogy, Context, Textuality, or
