<i>Special stream:</i> The 'Beyond the Family' ARC project team at the
University of Western Australia is proposing to organise a stream of
sessions on the broad theme of 'Households and Housing'. Possible topics
might include: spatial and material aspects of domestic life; building
and renovating; non-parental care of children; lodging and lodgers;
singleton households; blended families; residential arrangements for the
elderly. Interested participants can contact Dr Stephanie Tarbin
