Greetings All:

There is an opportunity for instructors to teach in the computerized classroom in Rivera Library 138 in Spring quarter. Library 138 is situated in the Rivera Library, has a main LCD machine, and roughly 40 student computers. This room had been initially reserved for English 5 courses, but we are now able to open it up to all composition courses. It is ideal, in my opinion, for English 4, 5, English 1B, and English 1C (1A can be taught there, but it takes some adjustment). Teaching in Lib 138 will look great on a cv and can be a very rewarding experience.

Please email me as soon as possible about interest in teaching in this environment. For those instructors interested, I'll be holding an orientation in week 8 or 9 on specific teaching techniques that are appropriate for a computerized classroom.

Best,
