Hello, Everyone -<br><br>
Last week I distributed a finals room assignment flyer and a schedule for
finals week but we've had to make a couple of changes. I've
attached revised copies to this email, and Laurie has put hard copies in
your mailboxes. <br><br>
Please let your students know where to go on the day of the final, but
also please tell them that the room assignment flyer will be posted on
Blackboard and they can consult it if they forget or lose their room
assignment. We have also put copies in the windows of the
WRC. We aren't making 1500 copies of the flyer for mass
distribution, as we've done in the past. We're hoping that these
three methods of getting the information to students will be
sufficient.<br><br>
We're sorry that, for some of you, the conditions for proctoring the
final will be challenging as we've been given several very large rooms
and have had to group people accordingly. Thanks in advance for
your tolerance and cooperation. <br><br>
Two important points of interest:<br>
<x-tab> </x-tab>1. John
has decided that students may use bilingual dictionaries in the final (no
electronic ones, <x-tab> </x-tab>however).
<br><br>
<x-tab> </x-tab>2. Laurie
has asked me to draw attention to the date change for submitting course
point totals.<br>
<x-tab> </x-tab>Your
students' point totals are due by Thursday Dec. 15th at 4. The now
defunct schedule <x-tab> </x-tab>named
Friday the 16th as the deadline but that won't give us enough time to
complete our part<br>
<x-tab> </x-tab>of the
process in a timely way. <br><br>
