</span></b><span style="font-size:11.0pt;color:black">The recent creation of the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies represents an exciting, collaborative endeavor for the Dance and Theatre programs at Maryland. New initiatives include classes
that combine design, dance, performance and scholarship in devising work that require cross-disciplinary collaboration, shared language, expanded boundaries and new skill sets. The School offers: separate BA programs in Dance and in Theatre; the MA in Theatre
and Performance Studies; the MFA programs in Dance, Design, and Performance; and the PhD in Theatre and Performance Studies. The School currently has approximately 275 undergraduate and 75 graduate students enrolled in the programs. The MFA in Performance
program is graduating the first cohort of students in the Spring of 2013 and will admit it’s second cohort in the Fall of 2014.</span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
