<p class="MsoNormal">We are looking for a graduate student who has quantitative research experience, teaching experience, knowledge of CHASS Connect, and excellent interpersonal skills to serve as a GSR for CHASS Connect. The student would develop, implement,
and maintain an effective Early Intervention System. The GSR would coordinate communication between faculty, TAs, and Peer Mentors and provide the CHASS Connect students with the appropriate resources. The GSR would make individual contact with students,
work with them to receive appropriate resources, and then follow through with them over the course of the year to make sure they are receiving effective help. With the CHASS F1RST director, the GSR would design, implement and evaluate specialized workshops,
such as Critical Reading, as necessary. The GSR would share supervision responsibilities of the Peer Mentors especially with classroom visits and the filming of the workshops as a development tool. The GSR would help develop, implement and analyze an on-line
assessment tool for examining the effectiveness of workshops, quarterly assignments, and different parts of the CHASS Connect program. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on active listening are essential. Experience with STATA and/or SAS is critical.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This is a 9 month 50% GSR position.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Partial Fee Remission and GSHIP benefits are provided. <o:p>
</o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Salary: $1,663.00 – $1,796.50 per month (depending on graduate status).<o:p></o:p></p>
