<div class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">I am the coordinator for Playworks, and I wanted to send some information about the Playworks submission process. Playworks (May 31-June 2) is the festival of original work by undergraduate and graduate students.
All interested MFA graduate students are invited to submit One-Act plays to Playworks. One-Act plays receive a reading by students in the Theatre Department. Generally, the readings are directed by faculty or professional directors. At times, advanced students
in the undergraduate program are selected as directors. This year Playworks will take place on May 31, June 1 and June 2. Normally, undergraduates have their work presented on the first days of Playworks and graduate students have their work presented on the
final night of Playworks. </span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">The deadline for submission of work is March 14. Plays can be submitted by email to me at:
<a href="mailto:erithj@ucr.edu">erithj@ucr.edu</a>. A final draft of the play is due on the first week of spring quarter. All of the specifications regarding the Playworks submission process are detailed online at the Department of Theatre website under "Production"
and then under "Playworks Production Guidelines." I have also cut and paste the instructions below.</span></div>
