Playboy 2011 College Fiction Contest is now accepting submissions.<br>
<br>
First prize for the winning story is $3000 and publication in Playboy <br>
magazine.</p><p><br>
Second prize is $500 and third prize is $250.<br>
<br>
The Rules:<br>
<br>
1. Contest is open to all college students—no age limit. Employees of <br>
Playboy and their families, its agents and affiliates are not eligible.<br>
<br>
2. To enter, submit your typed, double-spaced manuscript of 25 pages or <br>
fewer with a 3”x5” card listing name, age, college affiliation, <br>
permanent home address and phone number to Playboy College Fiction <br>
Contest, 680 N. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60611. All entries must <br>
be previously unpublished original works of fiction and must be <br>
postmarked between September 1, 2010 and February 15, 2011.<br>
<br>
3. Decisions of the judges are final. Playboy reserves the right to <br>
withhold prizes if no submitted entries meet its usual standard of <br>
publication.<br>
<br>
4. Winners will be notified by mail and may be obligated to sign and <br>
return an affidavit of eligibility within 30 days of notification. By <br>
acceptance of their prizes, winners consent to the use of their names, <br>
photographs and other likenesses for purposes of advertising, trade and <br>
promotion on behalf of Playboy without further compensation to the <br>
winners, unless prohibited by law.<br>
<br>
5. Playboy reserves the right to edit the first-prizewinning story for <br>
publication.<br>
<br>
6. Playboy reserves the right to publish winning entries in U.S. and <br>
foreign editions of Playboy and to reprint, republish or incorporate <br>
them in any electronic or print English-language or foreign-edition <br>
anthologies or compilations of Playboy material without further <br>
compensation to the winners.<br>
<br>
7. Void where prohibited by law.<br>
<br>
8. All manuscripts become the property of Playboy and will not be <br>
returned.<br>
<br>
9. Taxes on prizes are the responsibility of the winners. For a list of <br>
the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Playboy College <br>
