The reading by Eric Barr and Tamra Kilcher is to celebrate the
publication of this new script.<br><br>

</b></font><b>Professor Evered</b><font size="2"> teaches playwriting and
screenwriting. He has won several awards for his writing, and his
published plays include <i>The Size of the World and Other Plays</i>,
<i>The Shoreham and Other Plays</i>, <i>Wilderness of Mirrors</i>,
<i>Celadine</i>, <i>Clouds Hill</i> and <i>Adopt a Sailor</i>. He
has written screenplays for Paramount Pictures, Dreamworks and Universal
Pictures among others. He collaborated with Liev Schreiber on a screen
adaptation of his play, <i>The Size of the World</i>. Mr. Evered's
produced film and TV credits include a feature adaptation of his play
<i>Running Funny</i> and an episode of USA Network's <i>Monk</i>,
starring Tony Shalhoub. He recently made his feature film directing
debut with his adaptation of <i>Adopt a Sailor</i>, starring Bebe
Neuwirth, Peter Coyote and Ethan Peck. <br><br>
