Drift was selected as a 2009 finalist for The<br>Story Prize. Her novel, This Vacant Paradise, is forthcoming from<br>Counterpoint Press in February 2011. Her fiction and nonfiction have<br>appeared in various literary journals, including The Southern Review, Santa<br>Monica Review, and The Florida Review. Her story ³Johnny Hitman² was listed<br>in the 100 Distinguished Stories in Best American Short Stories 2009.
