Well, I'll ask the poets tomorrow night. We are done at 7. What is the room number? Maybe we can get something together. Where are the theater and fiction people at that time? How fun to have someone from each genre reading...Truth is, I have some things to read; I think we all do but it's all about timing and dinner. Yeah, maybe we can get together a small budget for snacks? Wouldn't that be nice? I'll throw down say, 5 bucks? <BR>

What say the rest of you?<BR>

<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>As I have not heard back from anyone, there will be no colloquium meeting tomorrow.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>One of the strong recommendations of the MFA Grad review that I can share was that we should indeed have a regular reading series. They recommend one that is student-run.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>I agree, and have set up the colloquium time and space for you to us. However, if that's not conducive, I invite you to work on some other model. But someone (more than one) needs to step up and do it.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>Reading to an audience is a must, or you're just not going to be prepared when you leave here. Make it a strong event--invite the faculty, and make sure they know when and where. I will be happy to help out in any way necessary in regard to facilities or whatever.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>But let's get this thing going.</DIV>
