<div dir="ltr"><div>Greetings!</div>
<div> </div>
<div>There's a contingent of folks from UCR putting together proposals for the Association of Asian American Studies Conference in 2009 (<a href="http://www.aaastudies.org/2009/call/index.html" target="_blank">http://www.aaastudies.org/2009/call/index.html</a><br>
<br>It's mostly English & Comp Lit folks & they are not focusing on poetry. I'm thinking of proposing a panel on Asian American poetry &
wondering if anybody is thinking about going & interested in
possibly participating? The deadline is end of this month so there's
not much time to put something together, but I have interested folks for topics on the intersection of visual arts/poetry (John Yau, Mei-Mei Berssenbrugge, Myung Mi Kim); spoken word in relation to page poetry; etc.<br>

<div> </div>
<div>E-mail me offlist if you're interested & want to chat more
about this idea (or think you might know others who would be
interested).</div>
