to all graduate students in your department(s). Please also be
sure that every graduate student in your department is made aware of our
department's policy that all seminar enrollments must first be approved by the
English department's faculty graduate advisor, Professor Joseph

Childers. Please send your preferences to <A

Tuesday, April 29th.</B> (I will then compile the information and printing
every student's email message for Professor Childers. <BR><BR>By
Friday, May 2nd, Professor Childers will send out the all-inclusive department
class rosters. If your name is on the roster, then you have received
permission to take the seminar (a space is being reserved for you.
If your name is not on the roster, please feel free to email Professor Childers
directly at that time.<BR><BR>Once permission is granted by Professor Childers,
you may officially enroll, through GROWL, during the pre-registration
period beginning Monday, May 5. (Any student who enrolls in a
seminar without receiving permission from Professor Childers will be dropped
from the seminar.)<BR><BR>Note: When you are given permission to enroll in
a seminar, your place is reserved, therefore, we ask that you notify us if you
change your mind and no longer wish to be enrolled in the seminar -- once you
have been given permission to enroll -- so we can then make that slot available
to another student.<BR><BR>While priority must be given to English graduate
students, we recognize the need and interest of graduate students outside our
department, and in that spirit, we are happy to notify interested graduate
students of the remaining seminar spaces if you will send your seminar
preference email to Tina Feldman in part II, listed
