<p>Washington, D.C. - Atlantic Media Company announces today a new<br>Fellowship program aimed at discovering and fostering exceptional and<br>aspiring writers, editors, designers, web production and IT experts, and<br>other online media talents.</p>

<p>Traditionally known for its respected print titles - including The<br>Atlantic, National Journal, and Government Executive - Atlantic Media<br>will concentrate on new websites and online features in the Fellowship's<br>
inaugural year. This growth builds on Atlantic Media's significant<br>advances in the digital arena, including the upcoming relaunch of<br>NationalJournal.com, the March launch of NextGov.com, the recent<br>re-design of TheAtlantic.com, and a host of other focused online<br>
expansion efforts.</p>

<p>Through this new paid fellowship program, established by the company's<br>Chairman David G. Bradley, Atlantic Media will welcome 5 to 10 emerging<br>media talents from fall 2008 through spring 2009. Fellows will spend the<br>
intensive nine-month appointment conceiving of new web concepts,<br>developing their structure, design and voice, and writing and editing<br>the daily content once sites are launched.</p>

<p>Fellows will be current students in or recent graduates of college or<br>graduate school programs and should represent a dynamic and creative<br>edge, be it in writing excellence, aptitude in web design, or market<br>
intuition.</p>

<p>Deadline for submission is May 8, 2008. Semi-finalists will spend a<br>weekend competing for consideration, with Atlantic Media Fellows<br>announced on June 6, 2008. The Fellowship will begin in September 2008<br>and continue through May 2009.</p>
