Invigorated by the successes of our <A href="http://r.vresp.com/?OutpostforContempora/4582775d76/751971/b56bdde219/f934cc1">first program cycle</A>, it is with great enthusiasm that Outpost for Contemporary Art prepares to enter its third year of innovative programs.<br><br>
Starting soon, with a new focus on Eastern and Central Europe, Outpost will present further opportunities to its members for interaction and international exchange in contemporary art. During this next two-year cycle, Outpost will organize its first international exhibition at Center for Contemporary Art in Kiev, Ukraine, invite Eastern and Central European artists to Los Angeles for residencies, and develop special presentations for Los Angeles audiences.<br><br>
Today we are writing to ask you to <A href="http://r.vresp.com/?OutpostforContempora/13c4d38354/751971/b56bdde219/f934cc1">become a member</A> and contribute directly to the ongoing conversation Outpost is generating among local and international artistic communities. <br><br>
The <A href="http://r.vresp.com/?OutpostforContempora/6dc1d873e1/751971/b56bdde219/f934cc1">benefits</A> of membership will start immediately with Outpost´s annual
<i>Post-Postcard</i> show, happening next month (December 8-10) and open to all artists everywhere! (Download <A href="http://r.vresp.com/?OutpostforContempora/1d277b6bf6/751971/b56bdde219/f934cc1">guidelines here</A>).<br><br>
Normally $10 to enter, this fee is waived for artist members, and when shopping begins, members have first dibs at the hundreds of editions of fine art, all priced under $30. Additionally, when you join at the $50 "creative" level or above before December 31, 2006 you will receive a piece of artwork selected from <i>Post-Postcard 2006</i> as a gift. <BR>
