program that assist underserved students in low-achieving districts in reaching the goal of going to college. AVID Tutors at Pinacate Middle School are paid at $10-$15/hour. Weekly hours are serviced at the school site on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the
time frame of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. AVID Tutors can expect flexible hours that can easily adapt to college students' academic schedules. Employment is available throughout the academic year and employment begins immediately upon receiving TB and fingerprinting

on Tuesdays and Thursdays as students seek to master curriculum in their core and college preparatory elective classes. You will be working with a small of group of students, guiding them through problems they encounter in content classes. There will also
be opportunities working with teachers in the classroom. AVID is a college preparatory program that aids students in reaching their goal of attending a four-year university. We focus on academic skills, tutorials (study groups), college research, and educating
them about the requirements of college application process. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
