the extraordinary resources of the university with the talents and vision
of the K-12 educational community<br><br>

<font color="#0000FF"><b>GOALS:</b> </font>
<ul>
<li> To increase the number and quality of K-12 students who meet UC
eligibility requirements.
<li> To connect UCR undergraduate students with community programs
in a motivational service- learning environment that stimulates degree
completion.
</ul><br>
<font color="#0000FF"><b>BENEFITS: </b></font>
<ul>
<li>Earn $25/per hour for school/community-focused efforts.
<li>Earn college credit units for specific seminars.
<li>Develop expert oral and written communication skills.
<li>Create/enhance your professional network.
<li>Become a partner and citizen within the campus and extended local
communities.
</ul><br>
<font color="#0000FF"><b>QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:</b> </font>
<ul>
<li>UCR undergraduate students in good academic standing.
<li>Attend paid mandatory summer preparation and fall orientation
programs.
<li>Provide 30-50 hours of motivating/tutoring/mentoring young people for
college. preparation,<b> <i>especially in the high need area of
mathematics</i>. </b>
<li>Participate in meeting/seminars designed to enhance the SUP
initiative.
