Hi Everyone,<div><br></div><div>Here the two outreach opportunities discussed at today's EEOBGSA meeting.</div><div><br></div><div>1) California State Science Fair</div><div>May 1, 2012</div><div>7am-1:30pm (not including travel time)</div>

<div><br></div><div>Please let Bre and/or I know if you plan to judge; if enough people sign up, I may put together a carpool.</div><div><br></div><div>2) Kingsley Elementary School [Ontario-Montclair School District]</div>
<div>May 14 or May 16, depending on interest</div><div>8:30am-11:15am (not including travel time) - the initial emails sounded like we could stay for lunch if you desperately miss public school lunches.</div><div><br></div>
<div>The school would like three presentations: careers in science, ecology, and evolution. These would all need to be given at a 4th grade level, so it can be a challenge. Presentations last about 45 minutes, and would be given three times (one time each to a different class of 4th graders). Each class has approximately 35 4th graders.</div>
<div><br></div><div>If you're interested, let me know which topic(s) you can help with, which day(s) you're available, whether you need a ride (or can provide a ride), and whether you'd prefer to present alone or with somebody else (we can have multiple people in a single classroom). I am happy to help develop materials and lesson plans for each of the topics. </div>
