Hi Everyone,<div><br></div><div>The RIMS Science & Engineering Fair is fast approaching. This multi-county event will take place on April 3 and features district science fair winners from Riverside, Inyo, Mono and San Bernardino counties. For participating students, this is the big show - doing well here can earn them an automatic bid to Intel (the international science fair - in the case of truly exceptional projects), qualify them for major cash prizes and scholarships, and/or earn them a spot at the California State Science Fair. As such, the quality of projects is top-notch, and the students are really excited about science.</div>
<div><br></div><div>The organizers need judges to help evaluate projects for grades 4-12 (grades 4-5 are posters only; grades 6-12 include student interviews). Judging takes place from 9-1:30pm (this event does require a substantial time commitment), with an orientation at 8:30am. The event will be held at the National Orange Show Fairgrounds in San Bernardino.</div>
