The UC Natural Reserve System provides grants to support UC-enrolled
students for their independent and field science studies at NRS reserves.
Intended for graduate students, awards range up to a maximum of
$2,500.

Due to an oversight, the announcement for applications for the UC Natural
Reserve System Matthias Graduate Student Research Awards is only now
being distributed. Although the posted due date is 20 October, that
has been extended until 5:00pm Friday, 3 November.
Applications must include a letter of support from the director of the
reserve on which you wish to conduct your research, as well as a
supporting letter from your supervising faculty. These supporting
letters as well as the other components of the application may be
submitted to me directly via email.
